We purchased the property in early 2010 when it was just a paddock, it was previously Gray’s Berry Farm. We developed the garden ourselves, and first planted about 500 – 700 pittosporum tenufolium to establish a boundary hedge. Then, with the help of our wonderful local arborist, we planted over 100 large trees and continued to develop the garden from there. The only trees that existed when we bought the land are the 5 apricot trees you can see from the yurt.
You are welcome to walk through the knot garden and to sit on the swing seat under the apricot trees. We are also happy to show you more of the garden, please ask us.
